One of the most rewarding parts of my work is bringing art workshops into community hubs / settings. I especially love working with older people, helping them connect with others, make friends and discover the joy of creativity
Art is so much more than paint on a page, its a powerful tool for wellbeing. It stimulates the mind, encourages self expression, and provides a sense of purpose. For seniors, engaging in creative activities can support cognitive health, boost confidence, and, most importantly, help ease feelings of isolation by fostering meaningful social connections
Through these workshops, I've seen first hand the healing power of art. The simple act of creating together can spark conversations, laughter and new friendships. Its a reminder that creativity isn't just about making something beautiful, it's also about building community and supporting wellbeing at every stage of life
If you'd like to learn more about my community workshops, or you would like to host one please get in touch - I'd love to hear from you
