This journal measures approx 9.5"x 6", it is packed with hand dyed pages and ephemera, collected together in one "sewn in" signature, with over 40 pages. 
 
The softback cover is decorated with a beautiful, tactile fabric as well as a vintage fairytales illustration backed with soft dyed cheesecloth. The Fairy Tales title is surrounded by a brass effect metal embellishment and vintage trim hangs from the bottom and sides of the journal. The whole journal is held closed with a vintage sari silk ribbon.
 
The blank pages are dyed with coffee, and some are further aged with walnut inks. The papers consist of cartridge paper, old school book papers, handmade khadi paper, vellum and more.
 
There are hidden tuck spots and pockets scattered throughout the journal and some hold my handmade tags.  Little fabric accents appear throughout the pages as well as lots of thread and vintage lace scraps and buttons. 
 
A few of my paper dolls can be found throughout the journal as well as my waxed t-bag accents.
 
Lot of original ephemera is dotted throughout , to include old fairytale book pages, music sheet, vintage photographs and postcards, book illustrations, an old cabinet card.
 
At the very back of the book is one of my beautiful handmade Alice in Wonderland Brooches, it is up to you if you leave it in the book or wear it on your clothing.
